The organizers of the Philippine Innovation Conference 2025 (PIC 2025) have released the preliminary program for the two-day summit, revealing a lineup headlined by provincial leadership and national innovation policymakers.
The conference, set for November 21â22 at the University of Batangas (UB), will feature Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto and National Innovation Council Executive Cabinet Member Mark Sultan Gersava among its keynote speakers.

The event, themed âTATAK FUTURE,â focuses on the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, and Cybersecurity. Organizers noted that the released schedule and speaker lineup are subject to change.
Day 1: Policy and The Future of Work
The first day will open with remarks from UB President Marlene Hernandez-Bohn and Governor Recto, followed by a message from Reniel Villaflor of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region 4A.
The morning sessions will focus on high-level strategy and media transformation:
- National Agenda: Mark Sultan Gersava will present the Philippine National Innovation Agenda and Strategy.
- AI in Media: Pocholo De Leon Gonzales, CEO of CreatiVoices Productions, will discuss âBuilding the Filipino Future of AI Voices, Media, and Animation.â
Afternoon sessions will shift to practical applications and workforce evolution. Panels include the âFounders Forum: Businesses of Tomorrowâ and âWork Reimagined,â which will explore skills and AI in the next Filipino workforce.
Hackathon and Technical Workshops
A central component of the event, the âHack the Future: Smart Batangas Province Hackathon,â will formally launch on the afternoon of Day 1.
Unlike traditional hackathons, the program includes integrated oral workshops to guide participants in real-time. Aldrich Tan is scheduled to lead a session on âIdea Validation,â followed by Alpha Romer Coma on âUsing AI for Product Building.â
The hackathon will conclude on Day 2 with a âSolutions Showcaseâ led by Eliezer Rabadon.
Day 2: Cybersecurity, Agentic AI, and Government Support
The second day will feature technical deep dives and directives from government agencies.
Atty. Jesus V. Mayo, Chairman of the University of Batangas, will open the session. Keynotes include:
- DTI Initiatives: Marissa Argente of DTI Batangas will present on the Philippine Innovation Hub.
- Cybersecurity: Robin Divino, a Principal Offensive Security Consultant, will present âHacking for Fun and Profit.â
- Advanced AI: El Bonuan, founder of Maiba Studio, will discuss âSupercharging Virtual Assistants with Agentic AI.â
The conference will also feature a series of panels on âBusiness & Tech,â âBeyond Trading,â and âTrust in Tech,â covering topics from smarter systems to digital inclusivity.
The event will conclude with a keynote from Emelita Bagsit of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) 4A, titled âThe Road Ahead: The Future is Yours To Build.â
